How I Work
Here’s my answer.
I never work with two clients exactly the same way, because everyone’s situation is different. But I more or less approach it like this:
- I meet with you to learn about your concerns and expectations and help to clearly define the cause of your pain.
- Then, we work together over a period of time to complete a proprietary business and process analysis.
- Using a solid analysis framework as a foundation we construct your solution process - strategy, tactics, and performance metrics.
After working together you will have developed a process but more importantly the skills to produce repeatable results. During the engagement you learn how to actively scan the environment so as to become
- quick
- flexible
- and effective
in every situation; from formulating ideas to influencing others.
And as a result, you are positioned to achieve sustainable growth while increasing profits and cash flow.
My guarantee, just like the work product, is clear and simple but possesses superb value. If at any time before the completion of the engagement you are not 100% satisfied, I will provide a refund of up to 50% of fees incurred to date.
What’s the relationship like?
During the first meeting I tend to do what I do best - active listening.
We start our relationship with an in-depth interview, where I spend time getting to know both you and your ideas. To guide this discussion and ensure that the engagement is built on a solid foundation I will have developed a list of a few key questions based on our initial contact.
On average this takes 40 minutes but I will spend the time necessary to reach the heart of the problem.
What happens next?
If we agree that we would like to work together, I will:
- Assess your areas of opportunity.
- Outline a customized engagement program.
The engagement
After that the exact path taken differs for each project. Of course, the one ever-present constant is the engagement solution framework.
It is based on and uses standard methodologies and business analytic tools. This structured process effectively converts ideas into strategies, and strategies into action.
What’s your goal?
